Jeremy Camp says the origins of this song came, of all places, from a rough time.  
“Going deeper [with God] is going to require some pain", Camp explains. "And, even the understanding of being refined by fire, as gold is refined, is purified, I want to be purified so I can be the husband, the father, the friend that I need to be. I want to reflect Christ in a pure way.
I’ve tried to be thankful for the flames because it’s brought me to the feet of Jesus and made me more like Him.”
